Are you in St. Louis? Do you need to do some welding, or want to learn how to weld? MADE Makerspace has a couple of welders to choose from, and we’ll teach you how to use them! Our training is short, sweet, and to the point, and it’s all focused around the tools in our shop.
In our welding shop, you’ll have two different kinds of welding tools to choose from: our TIG welder, or our MIG welder. Both use an electrical current to fuse metal in different ways. MIG welding is primarily used for welding mild steel together, and is very easy to learn. TIG welding requires some practice, and is capable of welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
If you decide to become a member at MADE, you can rent our welding bay by the hour to practice your skills or build your projects. Whether your welding a 10-foot-tall aluminum sculpture, fixing an antique metal sconce, or fabricating a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture, you’ll find space to do it all at MADE.
