A CNC embroidery sewing machine stitches designs onto fabric and garments. CNC stands for Computer Numeric Control, which means that a digital file tells the machine how to move. The Baby Lock Enterprise has a hooping system that holds the framed area of fabric taut under the sewing needle and moves it automatically to create a design from a pre-programmed digital embroidery pattern. It can stitch designs on garments, quilts, pillows, bags, wall hangings and much more.

What should I bring when I reserve the CNC Embroidery machine?

MADE provides the machine needles and top thread in 10 basic colors on the machine. Members must bring their own L-type pre-wound bobbin, and may bring their own top thread if they want to use a specific color or specialty type of thread. Members must also bring their own fabric and stabilizer.

Can I digitize my own designs at MADE?

MADE offers access to Stitch Artist Embroidery Digitizing software.

What types of files does the Enterprise accept?

You can use *.pes, *.phc or *.dst files on the Enterprise.
