A corner notcher uses a v-shaped blade to cut a 90° section out of a piece of sheet metal. It is typically used to provide clearance so that two sides can be folded up to form a box or tray. Notches of more than 90° can be accomplished in two operations.
The Jet S-16N can cut up to 16 gauge sheet metal, and can cut a maximum notch of 6” x 6”.
