A shear is a cutting tool used to make straight or curved cuts in sheet metal. The tool is like a giant pair of tin snips and can cut much deeper into a panel than the length of the blades, allowing great flexibility in shapes you can cut. The curved shoulder design allows work to be turned in any position during the cut.

The Beverly B-1 throatless shear can cut cleanly through 14 gauge mild steel or 18 gauge stainless.
