4/16 UPDATE: In response to Mayor Krewson’s Stay at Home Order, MADE will remain closed until further notice. Stay tuned for updates.
In response to the recent developments with a global COVID-19 outbreak, MADE will be postponing our monthly Open Houses for March and April. Stay tuned for May!
Additionally, the following message was sent out to all MADE members regarding use of the shop:
Dear maker community,
As our current social situation develops, we have a responsibility to limit operations for public health. MADE has cancelled all group classes effective immediately, scheduled to resume April 3rd. The shop is currently open to members only, so please do not bring guests into the shop, or come by for a tour if you are not currently a member.
Our hours of operation will remain the same, with a limited number of staff available from 10am to 10pm Tuesday-Saturday, and 10am to 7pm on Sunday. We will be reassessing how and when we operate on a weekly basis. We want to ensure that our community still has access to the equipment needed to create their work, while staying cognizant of proper social distancing. We have reduced maximum capacity in the work areas, so if you plan to work please reserve equipment in advance here.
If you choose to use MADE in the coming weeks, please wipe down equipment and surfaces with disinfectant wipes before and after you’ve touched them. Please use common sense- follow instruction from the CDC, and do not come in if you are sick, are at high risk, or are in regular contact with someone at high risk.
Stay tuned to email, and our social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Slack) for updates on operations. In an effort to keep the creative juices flowing, MADE is committing our social media posts to at-home projects, ideas, and inspiration. Follow us and tag your favorite ideas with #inspiredisolation to keep the conversation going!
