Hello Maker Community! MADE has some great news to share- we will be opening up our shop starting this Tuesday, May 19th. Our hours will resume regularly, Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 7p.m.

In accordance with St. Louis’s mandated re-opening policies, we are taking steps to support a safe environment at MADE.  Our phased reopening will initially have limited occupancy, open to members only. Half of MADE’s equipment will be unavailable to reserve to ensure social distancing measures and limited occupancy of our space is maintained. Similarly, half of our computers in the lobby will be removed so there is at least 6 feet between members using our technology in tighter working areas. MADE staff will disinfect high-touch surfaces, like door knobs, railings, and keyboards regularly. We will have disinfectant wipes available for you throughout the shop to use before and after you use a tool or technology. Personal responsibility will be key for keeping our community work environment clean.

The following four policies will take effect for members on May 19th as part of our phased re-opening:

  1. Members only in the shop. 
  2. Reserve your equipment ahead of time. You can begin making reservations today!
  3. Wear a face mask at all times that covers your nose and mouth. If you do not have a mask, we will have some for sale in our retail area. Bonus points- they’re made by our members!
  4. Wash your hands immediately upon entering MADE, and regularly while you are here.
