The MADE Scholarship Program is a funded membership and training program designed for underrepresented makers in the St. Louis region who are seeking access to a makerspace. This includes black, brown, female and nonbinary makers, artists, designers, and entrepreneurs- creatives who have historically been marginalized within the maker movement. The MADE Scholarship Program offers a 6-month membership and $700 stipend at MADE for training and equipment reservations in our makerspace. At the end of the program, makers will provide MADE with an artist talk, professional development opportunity for the community, pop-up shop, or something of similar value that reflects their experience at MADE and contributes to our community.
This program includes membership and funding for training and equipment usage within our space. It does not include materials or funds for materials. If you haven’t seen our makerspace, please take a tour before applying.
Applications are currently closed. Please email info@madestl.com to be put on our interest list for the next round.
